Chunky Monkey

Brody is my little chunk. He's not even four months old, and he's already wearing 6-9 month clothes. He's been wearing the 3-6 month clothes, but I ran out of warm things to wear, as it was summertime by the time Dylan needed that size. So I had to pull out some 6-9's to see if they would fit, and to my surprise, they did, and there's not a whole lot of extra room! His four month appointment is Monday the 19th, and I'm kind of excited to see how much he weights and how long he is! You may notice he's chewing on his fist in the picture below. I think Brody may be taking after his mother, and is teething early. Poor little chap seems to be having a hard time with it and has been fussy lately.

The outfit he's wearing in the picture is one of my favorites. I loved to have Dylan wear it. It's funny to think Dylan was wearing that outfit over Labor Day Weekend 2006, and here we are not even at Memorial Day Weekend and Brody is wearing it. Here is Dylan wearing that same outfit:

Knowing Brody can fit into the 6-9 month clothes makes me worried he might not get to wear all of the other cool weather outfits we have. It makes me sad to think I might not get to see another little baby body wearing those adorable outfits. SIGH.
